Translate course activities into IT requirements
Required course applications, shared devices and planned room use are checked against the existing environment. This establishes which configurations can remain in use and what needs to be adjusted before the course.
We also establish who requests changes and how much time is available for setup and testing. This connects course planning with administration before a new group starts using the devices.
Prepare workstations and software
With baramundi, we support software deployment, patch management, inventory and operating system deployment. Recurring workstation configurations can then be planned and maintained as defined administrative tasks.
For different course applications, we check the versions, devices and dependencies required. Changes are tested on suitable pilot devices before wider deployment. Whether a school platform such as IServ would also be useful depends on the functions needed.
Organise user changes and access
The start and end of a course change the accounts and permissions required. We help implement the agreed user and access structure. Personal workspaces, shared storage and administrative access each need appropriate permissions.
Your organisation determines who needs which information and how to handle learners leaving a course. We account for these requirements in the configuration and establish which changes need regular attention.
Connect rooms and sites
Teaching rooms need appropriate network connections and Wi-Fi capacity. Guests, learners and administration may require different access arrangements. We plan and maintain the network structure, taking server services and any additional sites into account.
New rooms or larger groups can require changes to connections, devices and administration. We assess these dependencies so that an extension remains manageable in everyday use.
Provide continuity between courses
After rollout, there are updates, application changes and further courses to prepare. We support agreed administration tasks and the investigation of technical problems.
Maintenance windows and responsibilities are coordinated with teaching activities. Documented changes help retain working configurations and assess new requirements.
Can existing PCs and applications be included?
Yes. We check technical support, required versions and existing configurations. This establishes what can be retained or needs adjusting.
Does every education provider need IServ?
No. The choice depends on the functions and workflows required. We assess which needs are already covered by existing systems and where additions would help.
