Changing a school server platform involves more than software. We help schools and school authorities coordinate data, users, devices and operational responsibility for the transition to IServ.
What SBE has currently announced
SBE states that development of LogoDIDACT 4.0 ends on 31 December 2026. For existing licences, SBE offers an extension including security updates and support until 30 June 2027. Whether this offer applies to your school, and under which conditions, must be established from the existing agreement.

First establish what needs to continue
We assess functions and the technical environment, including user structures, file storage, device management, software distribution and interfaces. Equivalent functionality cannot be assumed without assessment. SBE currently describes imaging and self-healing clients as planned additions. Before migration, we compare the functions you need with the IServ features available.

The path to the new environment
After assessment, we define the target environment, data transfer and sequence of work. This includes backing up the source system, testing the proposed migration and agreeing on a transition window. After the switch, we check agreed functions and support administration and training.
Questions about the transition
Does our school have to shut down LogoDIDACT by the end of 2026?
SBE has announced the end of development and offers existing licence holders a conditional extension with security updates and support until 30 June 2027. Separate arrangements apply to Berlin. We review your version and agreement before setting a transition date.
Can all data and functions be transferred?
This needs assessment for each dataset and function. We document what can be migrated, what preparation is needed and where procedures will change.
